Shared e-scooter (monopattino) and e-bike services, covering only the regions with deep-dives in index.md: Emilia-Romagna, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Marche, Umbria, Abruzzo, Puglia, Calabria. Other regions are out of scope. Current status only.
Compiled from operator location pages (bitmobility.it/dove-siamo, ridedott.com, ridemovi.com/cities, elerent.com/citta, vaimoo.com, mulomobility.it, weelo.it) plus municipal sites and 2025–2026 local news. No central registry exists, so coverage is best-effort; small seasonal deployments shift.

Bridge guidance: for the 500 m-limit traveller, treat shared e-scooters as an unreliable / legally-grey bridge (default to taxi). Where available, shared e-bikes are the better micro-bridge — helmet-exempt and expanding. Note many e-bike systems are docked (station-to-station), which means walking to/from a fixed station; free-float systems can be left anywhere.

Notes: RideMovi is the regional bike/e-bike backbone (free-float, one app across Bologna, Imola, Piacenza, Reggio Emilia, Parma, Cesena). The old docked "Mi Muovo in bici" was dismantled (Bologna/Imola/Ferrara) in favour of free-float. Bologna's scooter operators (Bird/Dott) are authorised but the live 2026 fleet is small/uncertain. Cervia's Bird scooters are seasonal. Helbiz (Ravenna) is financially distressed — treat as unreliable.

Notes: Almost no free-float scooters in FVG — Bird's seasonal Lignano fleet is the only one. Udine dropped scooters entirely; it and Lignano now run RideMovi free-float bikes/e-bikes. Notes: Thin market — no Lime/Dott/Bit anywhere in Marche. Pesaro RideMovi e-bikes (free-float) is the only reliable shared option on the Adriatic leg. Senigallia + Mondolfo share the docked Fa.Mo.Se. system (nextbike by TIER). Grottammare's Helbiz scooters are likely lapsed (contract ran to Dec 2024; not on the current town transport page). Fano has no usable shared service (legacy municipal bike-share is moribund) — use Pesaro's RideMovi or a taxi. San Benedetto del Tronto: municipal scooter + planned e-bike, both unconfirmed for 2026.

Notes: No big scooter free-floaters in Calabria. Elerent free-float scooters in 7 towns (the old "Lago Arvo / Lorica" entry is dropped — not on the current Elerent list). VAIMOO docked e-bikes (Ferrovie della Calabria tender) in Castrovillari, Catanzaro, Cosenza, Palmi. Mulo Mobility (local) runs scooters + e-bikes in Reggio Calabria + Scilla only (despite "tutta la Calabria" marketing). Reggio's docked "Reggio in Bici" (Bicincittà) is partial/restarting. Vibo's "On" e-bike system is a defunct "ghost" service — don't rely on it.
